 What an exciting year for CleanDomain. Since CleanDomain’s inception in March 2005, we are currently servicing 37 various common domain contracts Australia wide, that’s 14 more contracts since the last edition of TeamTalk!
In the last edition we spoke about CleanDomain technology such as the introduction of the cleaning “Helpdesk” at Chadstone Shopping Centre and the use of PDA (handheld) technology at various larger centres. This technology theme has continued with CleanDomain currently in negotiations with Colonial First State Property Group in regards to creating a National Helpdesk to service all of its centres. This service has never been provided by any cleaning company and CleanDomain are looking forward to being the first to offer this great service / technology to our clients.
In June 2006 CleanDomain took over the cleaning contract of Central West Plaza in Victoria. This being our first contract.
Our strong relationship with Colonial has seen CleanDomain acquire the remainder of their Queensland portfolio on 1st July 2006. This includes Beenleigh Market Place, Clifford Gardens, Grand Plaza, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre, Myer Centre Brisbane, Noosa Fair and Runaway Bay Shopping Centre. Once again with the help of diligent planning and attention to detail CleanDomain successfully transitioned these 8 centres spread across Queensland from Mackay to the Gold Coast all on the one night! We are now currently servicing 27 Colonial properties Australia wide.
July also saw the beginning of a new relationship with the Centro Property Group. We were successful in securing two of their contracts in Victoria, Centro Ringwood Square and Centro Croydon Market Place.
In August 2006 we began providing cleaning services to our second Westfield contract, Centrepoint in Sydney. This contract comprises both Centrepoint’s retail section and its office tower. Our third Westfield contract begins in the middle of September with CleanDomain securing the contract to one of Westfield’s largest centres, Southland in Victoria.
CleanDomain is also very excited to announce it latest venture, cleaning of one of Australia’s most famously known railway stations – Southern Cross Station in Melbourne, formally known as Spencer Street station. The contract will begin on September 1st 2006. We are very grateful to Civic Nexsus for giving us this opportunity to provide cleaning services to such a prestigious station.
More exciting news on the Westfield front is the beginning of new relationships in the United Kingdom and also the United States of America. CleanDomain has successfully tendered and acquired contracts in both countries beginning in September in the UK and October in the USA. We wish our colleagues in both countries well in the start up of CleanDomain UK and CleanDomain USA.
With many more contracts still in the tendering process across Australia, CleanDomain can look forward to another successful year. Getting out of our comfort zone of shopping centres and branching out into high rise buildings and now railway stations is providing CleanDomain with exciting new challenges. The need for additional resources has been recognised and additional resources have been appointed to enable CleanDomain to manage our current and future contracts to ensure that the high benchmark that has been set in regards to our cleaning services provided continues.
