It's Games time again at Cleanevent!(And others have come along for the ride) Well it is now official; involvement in the biggest events in the world has become HABIT at Cleanevent, with the award of a considerable package of business for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
The Cleanevent group have been appointed in Official Provider status, to approximately 70% of all deployments within the Commonwealth Games overlay, and whilst this is a position that we have become accustomed to, this time other brands within the group have made their way to the podium to gain medal status.
Cleanevent, the lead event brand has been appointed as an Official Provider to the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth games, and in particular the Official Provider of Cleaning services to the MCG.
The "G"; a contract that has eluded the company since its inception in 1987, has been awarded to Cleanevent for the games.
"I am particularly "chuffed" about the MCG contract award" executive director and founder of the company Craig Lovett said, "It has been rewarding to answer a scope of works that allows us to service the venue to the high standards that we demonstrate around the globe"
The now established and well credentialed brand of CleanDomain has also had games success with the award of the Villages cleaning contract.
CleanDomain with have the recognition of the Official provider of cleaning services to games village. The expertise of this brand is well suited to the high detail that will be required by the National Olympic bodies from the 45 countries competing at the games of 2006, as well as the 1000s of visitors and games family that will make the athletes village their base for the event of the decade in Melbourne.
The games will also see the launch of a new brand within the group, CleanConcierge, a specialist in the provider of cleaning and housekeeping services to the hotel and accommodation sector.
"We have long wanted to be in this sector and have investigated acquisitions to develop this brand" said Nicko Mavro CEO of the group, "when those opportunities fell short of our expectations, we decide to build the brand from scratch, just as we have with our other successes. We will service this sector with the same professional approach"
CleanConcierge with be recognised at the Official Provider of Village Housekeeping services to the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. In the servicing of the village, some 10,000 athletes and officials will be touched be the management and staff of the company on a daily basis. This quantum represents more serving that all of the Melbourne CBD 3, 4 and 5 star hotels room capacity, right out of the blocks.
