Moving On

Ken Mayes - previous Regional Manager Queensland. Ken finished a long and successful relationship with Cleanevent in December, after 8 years with us. We wish Ken good luck with his future endeavours.

Brian Allison - Logistics and Washroom Manager. Brian left Cleanevent in late January to pursue another role with Collex. Brian has been an invaluable part of the Cleanevent success, having worked with us since the late 1980’s.

Kate van Liessum - Victoria Racing Club (Flemington). Kate has cleaned at many venues and events since joining the Cleanevent team in 1997. We hope Kate is excited in her new role at TXU.

Joanne Boom - Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive. Jo left Cleanevent in early January to pursue a project management role with ConnectEast – the Mitcham-Frankston Tollway. We wish Jo all the best for her ongoing success.

New Faces - New roles

Kiri Fitopoulos - Receptionist. Kiri successful secured a permanent role with Cleanevent as the receptionist at Head Office in Melbourne. Kiri has been part of Cleanevent events for the past two years, and previously worked as a crew trainer at McDonalds.

Kane Dowsett - Event Administration Manager. Kane started with Cleanevent on 10 January 2005. He has several years experience as an Event Coordinator for Camp Australia and has worked at both the Grand Prix and Australian Open previously. Kane will be based in the Melbourne Office.

Andrew Roy started with Cleanevent as the Velodrome Supervisor on 14 February. Andrew previously worked in management at McDonalds and as a Department Manager for Rebel Sports Stores. We welcome Andrew to the Cleanevent team.

Jasmine Bahen - Recruitment Officer. Jasmine started with Cleanevent in early December and will provide recruitment expertise across all events in the lead up to the Formula One Grand Prix, Clipsal 500, and Sydney Royal Easter Show in March. Jasmine has previous events experience as well as large scale recruitment exposure. We welcome Jasmine to the team!

Events Cleaning Staff NSW Group Information Sessions were held in Sydney in December and February, with more than 300 candidates interested in working at our events in Sydney. VIC Group Information Sessions were held in January and February for more than 300 candidates interested in work at our many events across Melbourne during February and March. SA Group Information Sessions were held in early March to formally induct more than 100 candidates interested in working at Clipsal 500 in 17 March. QLD Group Information Sessions are being conducted in mid March for more than 100 candidates interested in ongoing work at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, and further events later in the year.
