Nicko was born in Greece in 1962 and educated in Europe. By some twist of fate, he found himself working for the Australia Federal Government.

That started a journey and eventual love affair, with Australia. Nicko accepted a posting to Australia in 1986, working for the Department of Social Security. After joining Mayne Nickless, Nicko worked as a senior manager for over seven years, finishing in a senior executive role with their Security Division.

In 1995 Nicko joined Tempo Services. After ten years, he had become one of the most senior ‘Head Office’ executives, at which time Cleanevent were lucky enough to secure his services. Nicko joined Cleanevent in an official capacity, January 2005.

Since then he has made a concerted effort to meet with clients and staff, in order to familiarize himself with the Cleanevent operation, around the world. A recent trip to London and Orlando has provided an excellent opportunity for everyone at Cleanevent to be introduced to our new leader.

Nicko will focus on consistent profits, growth and quality within our global business. His role will be responsible for the overall development, management and operations across all the business units, ensuring operational excellence and strategic planning. In addition he will be developing a strong HR strategy, that has the correct people, in the right places ensuring that they are well-inducted and trained.

The introduction of the Group COO role will now allow me to focus on growing our Brand and assist me, as I continue to build relationships, through strategic business development, on a global scale within the Cleanevent Group. I believe Nicko to be an excellent asset to our company and I am sure, if you haven’t had the chance to meet him, that over the coming months you will have the opportunity to do so.
